Community amenities continue to play a role in influencing home selections among buyers; however, today’s definition of a community amenity has evolved to include intangible aspects, such as the walkability of a neighborhood, as well as more traditional elements. Often, the types of amenities offered depend on the location and the size of the community. When the Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently reached out to Edward Andrews Homes to learn about the types of amenities that complement the company’s neighborhoods, VP of Sales Andy DiMarzio discussed how land availability and the price point of a community affect the builder’s decision to provide certain amenities, including pools, tennis courts, fire pits and pocket parks.
