Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Director

Position Type/Hours of Work: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

The Job Description

Summary/Objective: This position will work directly with the Marketing Director and Chief Marketing Officer on marketing and brand initiatives spanning across the corporate brands (“EA Homes” & “Empire Communities”) and 15+ new home communities.

Marketing initiatives include: Oversee Empire brand transition, creation of assets and implementation into market; collateral and web content management, social media planning and monitoring, event marketing strategy, analysis of onsite customer experience, and digital content curation for design center & sales centers.

Ultimately, all marketing initiatives correlate with efforts of Online Sales team, Division Sales Managers, and Onsite Sales Consultants to achieve goals in lead generation and new home sales.

Essential Functions:

  1. Following strategic partnership with Empire Communities, oversee brand transition on community level, including formation of all assets and implementation; partner with Empire Communities marketing team and EAH marketing director to lead corporate brand transition & intown brand launch
  2. Manage collateral, website, social media, and blog content on a weekly basis to keep up to date and assist in overall content strategy
  3. Run point on generation of social media content as well as monitoring social media placed ads by strategically communicating community information and establishing EAH & Empire as a design influencer
  4. Coordinate photoshoots of all inventory homes, designer model homes, and events; stratege use of photos post-shoot across website, social media, email campaigns and sales center usage
  5. Assist in offline and online marketing campaigns for events, including strategy and creative review of ad content, website content, collateral content and promotional materials
  6. Plan and execute events, specifically overseeing event outreach across digital channels including web, social, and email marketing, as well as day-of execution and coordination with partners
  7. Research and provide content for award submissions at regional, national, and global levels; interview executive team members to collect content and quotes for entry
  8. Communicate directly with Empire Communities and external partners for project updates, meetings, review of deliverables, creative and project briefs, and creative feedback
  9. Collaborate with sales & design teams on a weekly basis to drive marketing initiatives and measurable results at community and global level
  10. Participate in weekly analytics reviews of web and social platforms and implement learnings
  11. Participate in opportunities to enrich industry knowledge and enhance professional development, including Urban Land Institute and Metro Study

Skills/Competencies:

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  2. High attention to detail
  3. Ability to learn light graphic design skills to create marketing materials for distribution in Adobe InDesign
  4. Working understanding and experience with website content management, WordPress, and social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn; experience with CRM/email-automation systems a plus, specifically Sales Force, Pardot & HubSpot
  5. Understanding of holistic marketing campaigns and the role of digital marketing within the system
  6. Knowledge of email marketing campaigns and online advertising technology
  7. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and timelines, with adaptability and flexibility

Supervisor Responsibilities: This position will have no supervisory responsibilities but with work in unison with Marketing Director and Online Sales Consultants.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  This role will also spend a significant portion of their time in the communities, walking designer model homes, hosting events at communities and Design Center, and oversees overall customer experience while onsite. This position requires a personal vehicle for off-site visits, events, and community involvement.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role. It would require the ability to lift/carry marketing materials. This role requires near vision, i.e. the ability to perceive details at close range (within a few feet).  This role will require a moderate amount of time walking and standing.

Travel: Little travel is expected for this position, outside of attending industry conferences.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or related communications field
  2. 1-2+ years of experience in the communications field
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Any appropriate combination of education and experience
  5. Interest in Residential Real Estate
